Overanalyzations of cartoons. This is a fascinating read.

This is what I expect from the cartoon category. This is a site that aims to analyze and even OVER analyze the cartoons you remember as a child.

Ever wonder why Bugs Bunny dressed in women's clothing so much? Ever suspect that talking crows in cartoons were veiled racism? Ever wonder how come there's only one female and 100 males in Smurf Village? There's a Papa Smurf, but what happened to Mama?

This site aims to answer these or at least bring up more interesting questions about cartoons...

As the site also mentions, most of the content is user submitted, so if you have a pet theory, add it...

This guy may be digging too deep and ascribing meaning where there is none, but his thoughts on various cartoon characters and themes are convincing and interesting. There's a fine line between genius and crazy. Some things are both. When they are... they are usually awesome.

Hmmm, Chief Quimby as Dr, Claw does make some sense. I guess we'll never really know.

From the page: "The rule is, if you are a predatory carnivore, you don't talk, but if you are a pacifist, a vegetarian or cute, you do." Wrong. Scar talks (The Lion King). Dumbo doesn't.
