- Fantastic pages addressing a plethora of important issues of our time. I recommend you put it on your daily play list. So one day I call the VA and was told I was "granted" service connection for a disability incurred in service. Logically, I ask her to send me a letter reflecting this fact. She says to me, "I'll send a message to the VA in Des Moines and they will send you one. to double check this, I call my counselor from another agency (Veterans Benefits Administration) and she confirms I have, in fact, been granted service connection. but then, get this, she says hold on lemme refresh the screen. Before I can ask her to print a hard copy she says, "oh, now it says non service connected., that's odd." After I hung up I then call the VA Regional Office in Des Moines to inquire. Response? "clerical error." Geez...I guess it won't do me much good to click continue or insert another quarter. What is this a game? Damn computer glitches anyway. ***overhears in the background*** "paging Mr. Dover, Mr. Ben Dover..."
