"How to Start a Business With No Money" Is this article a joke? Who on earth wants business advice from a person who invested over twenty grand (Slightly more than No Money) in a company which took almost two years to generate a revenue (not profit) of $471 per month? She almost seems proud that she had the conviction to back a losing horse for SIX YEARS. This article provides absolutely no inspiration for anyone with any business sense. Follow up: After a brief look on the author's blog, I discovered this business eventually sold for $1.1 Million. Fair enough, but this still doesn't look like a good model for someone starting out.

I often receive emails from those of you who want to start businesses. Often, you want to start a business from home to make a little extra cash. It would be nice if it turned into a million-dollar moneymaker, but it doesn't have to. Your goal is to explore a passion of yours and make a bit of money on the side.

From the page "Notice, that among these traits (determination, persistence, specific and measurable goal-setting, and a willingness to challenge others' beliefs), "money" is not mentioned. Neither is time. If you have the drive, the determination, and the willingness to succeed, you are much more likely to succeed - regardless of how much money you start out with." Good luck...

It shows that with preserverance and determination the Internet way to making money will work. It does take concentration, as the author said, and being committed.

Very interesting! I'm a business owner and started my businesses with next to nothing. For all who are looking to open a business -- DO IT! =D
