the last time I tried an application similar to this one, it crashed without even finding any drivers. This one, though, seems to work well (at least the backing-up part does) :)

Used this recently. Went above and beyond my expectations in that, it being exceedingly lightweight, placed a portable version of the app inside. Worked beatifully, only took a couple seconds to setup all my old drivers (of which my computer basically does not work without).

Software like this always seems to cause more problems and identifying wrong device drivers. My suggestion is get all the current drivers before reinstalling Windows or before your computer becomes corrupt and put them on a CD or USB Flash drive so you will always have them.

I agree with the concept of faulty drivers sometimes being the culprit in having to reformat/reinstall the OS, but if this utility works as it says, then maybe it's worth giving it a try & backing up existing drivers, especially if you know the currently installed drivers are working correctly ;)

I dunno about other people, but I can't really think of a situation where I'd want to print my drivers.
