"an organic (from organisms) compound, carbon-based." All organic means is that it has carbon in it. Adding "from organisms" is just stupid.

vineetcoolguy sure has a big, long stick up his ass. Anyway, this is pretty neat. I wish more electronics surfaces would have this sort of thing, all screens at least.

From the page: "With this information, maybe your iPhone can double as a conversation-starter." Cuz that's exactly what I need - iRetards wasting my time trying to start a conversation with "Hey, you know my iphone repels oil?" Lame i-maniacs, stop being so excited about a phone which promises 150 new features which include such revolutions as "the ability to forward messages" and "the ability to copy and paste". The Nokia phone I owned 10 years ago could do that.

iPhone applied organic chemistry principles to its 3GS phone to make a screen that your fingers won't smudge up - brilliant! Oh organic chemistry, you never let us down!

Comment #4 makes an excellent point about not being able to use screen protectors. Though I've never had to use one on my ipod touch.

From the page: "The polymer is an organic (from organisms) compound" Don't try explaining a complex science like oleophobic polymers if you can't understand simple science like the fact that an organic compound is one that contains carbon, not one from an organism.
