Chiropractors can do some great things; I can attest to getting 'fixed' one time when I had two ribs and several vertebrae out of place. But many people don't realize that much of what they do is NOT research proven. The fact that they are "turtling up" when coming under scrutiny seems suspicious to me.

I hope the Chiropractors get absolutely raped in court. "Alternative Medicine" practitioners in general are an heinous waste of oxygen. If a method is rigorously tested, and proven to be efficient, it ceases to be "alternative", and is then just "medicine". Chiropractors are not as bad as Homeopaths, and the absolute nonces that "practice" reiki and whatnot. Now that's just utterly ridiculous.

Some Chiropractors believe that manipulating the spine can cure any disease and immunizations are unnecessary. I'm guessing this UK Chiropractic organization is circling the wagons so this won't get out to the general public.

From the page: "The first panicky retreat in the war on free speech in the UK has begun. " And so it begins.

The McTimoney Chiropractic Association has strongly warned its practitioners to take down their websites and replace any information on their techniques with just brief contact information. Why would they do that?
