Reviews of this website

Harry-Powell discovered 16 months ago- From the page: "If this girl brutally raped her neighbor and then killed him, she would have bail right now as long as she didn't say the word "fag" while doing it."

Erazrhead rated 16 months ago- There are so many things about this story that should concern us all. At the root of it is political correctness run amok. This idea that everyone has a god given (or otherwise) right never to be offended. This of course is in direct opposition to the concept of free speech. Thus, our free speech rights are constantly being erroded. Once upon a time long ago we had the right to say homosexuality is wrong if that was your opinion. Now it's a hate crime. Unfortunately this situation will only get worse as our children are fully indoctrinated in government schools.

FlightDreamz rated 16 months ago- From the page: "What these girls did was obnoxious, but it's no threat to society to have them out of jail. It is unclear whether the judge is using the hate crimes law or something else to enforce these ridiculous bail decisions" I agree the brat needs to be disciplined (BADLY!) and a 30 day sentence (with time off for good behavior) doesn't sound TOO bad.

foo2you rated 16 months ago- From the page: "Bitches get pwned for being Fucktard christian fundamentalists"

MeKale rated 16 months ago- From the comments of the page: "As usual, John distorts and exaggerates for gratuitous effect, because us PC-lovin' ACLU-ers have it out for pitifully beleagured and victimized straight white Christian men [and teenage girls?]. According to both the Fox News report John cites and the AP story about this case, the girl in custody will be tried "next week," with a potential sentence of "up to" 30 days. It's the home-detention girl whose trial may be further off. A brief quote from the AP: "The victim of the alleged hate crime is a neighbor of one girl, according to court testimony. One girl has been ordered to remain in juvenile custody until her trial later this month. Judge Michael Chmiel noted that the girl has had about 12 other brushes with police in recent years. 'I'm very nervous about your daughter being home without supervision,' Chmiel told the girl's mother in court Tuesday. The mother responded, 'We've had rough spots - lots of them.'""

vconscious rated 16 months ago- If the title of this site upsets you, don't read it. You may not be able to get to the really interesting parts. There are a great deal of problems with an article like this. Problems which I was tempted to address. But, luckily many others already have. For a good balanced view you need to read comments on this article and follow the links and read the comments there. I give this a thumbs up because all together it shows an excellent view of the complexities of our society and justice system.

TyrannosaurusRex rated 16 months ago- Freedom of people to identify themselves as idiots is central to a functional political discourse. Arresting these girls for being stupid is a travesty. Let them spout their idiocy and dismiss their message out of hand. Arresting them lends credence to their message, as if it demanded a strong response by its validity. They have about as much credibility as those claiming the earth is flat.

gddelanoy rated 16 months ago- Some smart-ass kids got charged with hate crimes and refused bail...It's ironic how worked up the right wing can get over this kind of thing while totally ignoring the huge number of homosexuals who're physically attacked on a daily basis.

noself rated 16 months ago- From the page: "The ACLU, predictably, said it indicates the struggle between protecting targeted groups and free speech, which apparently means hate speech directed at whites, Christians, or men is a-ok in the ACLU's book." I call bollocks on this. The ACLU defends speech regardless of who makes it.
