This blogger needs to get a fucking life. A Pulitzer isn't and will never be in your future. Mark my words. When you own a rice company, you can decide where to send it to get packaged, but until that day comes the ceo's of these other companies are going to do what they damn well please. I am bothered by the fact it's impossible to make a decent living independently in many markets because you have to be attached to the larger machinery of commerce along with all its neuroses. heterodox, you're also making a circular argument they do it because it's the most effective because they're a company and that's what companies do - nothing but corporate 101 newbie dogma
