Another fine "CORPORATE" idea... shoved down your throat one way or another.... we could have given you an easy access to E-bay, but if you wanted it you would have had it already and since many of you didn't, well we have to make a buck somehow.

- When I first read about this a month ago I thought 'ok, here we go; another perfectly nice corner of the web being eaten up by a large corporation.' I guess this means that when I contributed my dollars to become a sponsor I was really becoming a subscriber.
I think they sold out. Hopefully they will be true to their word and not crumble under the pressure of E-bay.

Oh, I remember a time when eBay was driven by its users; 1997. Was that really 10 years ago??? What do Internet years equal in people years? I'm an even older fogie than I thought I was. Pardon me while I become seriously depressed...
