- I love this article. It was written in 1968 and predicts the "future" of 2008, telling us about all the futuristic inventions and lifestyle changes we'll have in the future. Much to my surprise, a lot of this article is actually accurate! Some of the stuff is funnily wrong, and the entire thing is worth a read.

- I just hate these kinda "predictions". They are always naive and short sighted. My prediction: in the future a supernational entity controls everything. We are all but ants in the anthill. Servants/slaves. Resources are strictly controlled, and only the elite (0.05% of population) is allowed the luxiries of utopian lifestyle. Self inflicted terrorism is used to scare people into thinking they are at war. Doublethinking + oligark collective society. Everything _WILL_ go straight to hell. It all starts either from USA or from China.
