jadzilla discovered 4 months ago- From the page: "We showed random colors to people and asked what they would call them. Here's what they said:"

- I'm colorblind, I really wish I could participate in these kind of web pages.

blupotato rated 4 months ago- Nifty. A small little path in the world of linguistics and personal perception. Your dark salmon is my bruised peach.

gazell rated 4 months ago- Sweet experiment with the what people call colors

escocesita rated 4 months ago- Linguistics... again but it's another one of those eternally interesting pages. Cultural (linguistic) perceptions of colour. Something I always wondered about since hearing how the Scottish Gaelic words for green grey blue overlapped oddly to an English speaker. Just a curiousity page though.

Squidshell rated 4 months ago- BABY POOP!

actionUnit rated 4 months ago- great idea, wish it was an interactive map though. love the concept.

StrangeAffinity rated 4 months ago- 'We showed random colors to people and asked what they would call them. Here's what they said.' I think I was about 6 when I was told that everyone experiences the five senses differently, and that the way I see red is probably different than everyone in the world. I nodded calmly, and said "RED RUM... over there." and they backed off.

It's all about perception, kids. And that goes for everything else in life, too.

SeoSmarty rated 4 months ago- "What would you call these colors?"
