I like this page. It's not just about making your bed or doing your chores, paying your bills. It's about taking control of your own life and your own destiny. Some of the things on the list might seem petty and inconsequential, but personally for me, knowing that I'm satisfying... more

this applies to such a small percent of humans, and a lot of this does not necessarily help you.

From the page: "I drink at least 2 liters of water a day." I honestly don't believe this is as worthwhile as everyone LOVES to say. Doesn't help you lose weight either. Just makes you need a piss all the time. "I don't injure myself, fall or bump into things." Er, yeah, because that's totally voluntary and easy to stop. "I rarely use caffeine. (Chocolate, coffee, colas, tea) less than 3 times per week, total." It is NOT completely, and scientifically, necessary to limit caffeine to this level. "I rarely eat sugar. (Less than 3 times per week)." What exactly am I meant to be eating? Most things have sugar in them. "I rarely drink alcohol. (Less than 2 drinks per week)" ......fckyou. I'd like to enjoy my life, please. And that means drinking plenty more than that. "I do not suffer." EVERYONE SUFFERS. NOT POSSIBLE TO AVOID UNLESS YOU BECOME SOME KIND OF ROBOT. "I hear well and protect myself from loud noises / concerts / music. " The day I put earplugs in to go to a concert is the DAY I DIE. "There is no one whom I would dread or feel uncomfortable "bumping into". (In the street, at an airport or party)." And what exactly am I expected to do about that? "I know how much I am worth." Oh yeah, I get a human life valuation allll the time. "I do not judge or criticize others" Everyone does. You can TRY not to, but you can't stop completely, it's human nature. Anyone who says they don't is a liar. On the whole, some of these ideas ARE worthwhile, but some are stupidly vague ("I surround myself with beautiful things") or simply NOT worth doing.

Good for setting life time goals. Life without goals is not worth living.
