It seems like I have been watching physics and A-bomb documentaries containg interviews with Hans my whole life. Clearly presented with minimal mathematics, it has a really nice feature of displaying summarizing bullet points down the side as Hans makes each point. I know its hard for people... more

Ok, this lecture is interesting for a few reasons. Besides the topic and content, it is fascinating the way someone who is respected and regarded as an expert can talk extremely slowly and simply and basically be a horrid lecturer and he is still evaluated very highly and is considered a master. Just imagine if this exact lecture were delivered by a 22 year-old college senior. Everyone would think he was borderline retarded and probably wrong in his analysis. Just pointing that out.

Watched the entire thing and will most likely come back to watch the others. I thought it was broken down into a great, simple format, very easy to understand and helpful. I actually found him to be, in addition, quite charming. :)

Quantum theory's never been so simple. That is, if you can stand to sit through the entirety of this easy-going lecture.

I'm not going to pretend that I actually sat through that 49-minute lecture; honestly, I don't really want to know anything beyond classical mechanics, so this doesn't interest me at all.

I love reading and hearing about quantum theory, but Hans is no Brian Greene, that's for damn sure. I keep trying to listen to him, but deep down, I wish he'd act like a particle and disappear. I think I'll take a muscle relaxer one evening and come back to this one...maybe then I'll be in the same space-time continuum as Hans.
