- This site looks scary. It seems similar to Dodgeball, but...unless you're connecting with friends, why would you want the rest of the Internet (even a badge on your blog!) to know where you are? Hmmm....

- I'm sticking this up on my page because it's interesting. But most definitely not for me. Plazes is like SU with geotagging. So you're sitting in a Wi-Fi coffeshop minding your own business and another Plazer pulls a chair up for a quick chat. Thanks, but no thanks. Now I love meeting new people, but if this doesn't attract every weirdo and profile fantasist out there on the interweb, I'll eat my hat. (Could revolutionise no strings attached hook-ups though....)

- Plazes adds your physical presence to the web. The Plazes website automatically detects your location and connects you to people and places nearby. See people in your area, discover other locations and follow the whereabouts of your friends. ---- Plazes? Ok, I guess...since stalker.com is already registered. If I've got this right, you serve up your MAC ID to tag your location so that it can be published onto a web community. Would anybody who understand that really want to do it?

- I particularly like the weapons API. Get the position of a person from Plazes through the API and it feeds straight into the missile... Just kidding - but probably a good reason to not use such tools if you are just the tiniest bit paranoid.
