Beaman80 discovered 12 months ago- Why I Strongly Support Israel The purpose of this essay is to shed light on the various reasons why I respect, admire and support the State of Israel. Introduction The dictionary definition of `to assume' is defined as `to take for granted or without proof; to suppose; to postulate'. It is a natural human trait which has benefited our species but one that has also pitched us into numerous wars and hatreds throughout the various millennia. Everyone has assumptions about this and that, from the meditating Buddhist monk in Vietnam to the Jamaican family enjoying the sun on the beaches in Montego Bay. However, the dangers appear when these assumptions lead to the appearance of bigotry, malevolence and worst of all, loss of life. Unfortunately, the subject people of this essay have probably suffered worse than any other from the corruptive results of wild assertions - those people being the Jews.....(continued on blog)

- I just love how you have a complete lack of sources for most of what you claim under the "myths & and lies" part of your essay. and what do you mean they have no concentration camps? they have plenty and are using them to hold 1000s of Palestinians (100s of which are under the age of 15!). And while yes 1,143 Israelis were killed since the year of 2000 Israel had killed 4,528 Palestinians. Really to me it seems you haven't even studied anything about why people saying Israel is bad. I'm sure if you went to http://www.ifamericansknew.org/ (or just spent hour to do unbiased research) I'm sure your views on Israel would change. And the reason there is so much terrorist attacks on Israel is becuase of their poor treatment of Palestine. And the only reason Jordans and Palestinians are using suicide bombers is becuase of desperation, they don't have the helicopters and tanks to kill them like Israel does. and really this whole essay to me just seems like a bunch of pro-Israeli and anti-Islamist Propagandistic bull crap. And what you say about how the Koran commands the jews to be killed is just a bunch horrid blatant lies. Nowhere in it does it say that jew must be or can be killed, it is against their religion to kill anyone except someone who is trying to kill him/her. (which is the same law Christianity and Judaism go by too). I bet you didn't even know that Israel is the biggest breaker of international laws set by the UN and the Geneva convention! And if you say that Israel isn't partaking in ethnic cleansing then you obviously need to reread the definition in the dictionary. And I really wouldnt call a country that is backed by the US and other influential country and receives $8 million a day ($2.5 billion a year)(which is more then every country combined receives from international aid) from them and has near limitless amnesty from international laws an "underdog".
