jbwhitten discovered 24 months ago- I know so many people with an unfounded but very strong fear or dislike of dobermans. 2 years ago I unexpectedly became a very unwilling owner of a red male. I couldn't let an animal come to harm if I could do something about it so I took him in until my local humane society could find a suitable home. Whoa! He is an amazing animal. He is so loving, not only to me, but my large family, including cats, even my sister's horrible chiquaqua.SP. He is amazingly trainable and LOYAL...I was lucky enough to have been forced to know Max and now my Hollywood induced misconceptions can become influenced by reality. Oh, yeah...this site is very nicely organized and the facts are direct and easy to read.
