I approve. :) Hey. In South Africa, they also charge us for plastic bags now. Even the fast food stores have switched to paper bags. I reuse bags. Yes. Bag lady, am I. :)

Okay, twin, is this better? Please consider switching to reusable shopping bags - the plastic bags still offered by all too many retailers are disgracefully harmful to the environment. THANKS In addition to using these bags yourself, you can tell your retailer to stop providing the plastic bags, or to charge a premium for them. In England they throw plastic bags at you in the supermarket, like they were made of air. Here in Finland it costs between 15 and 20 cents for every bag you use. Bizarrely though, more for the brown paper variety than the plastic. It doesn't cost much to make a difference, people. .

do something good for you and the earth. these bags are durable, made from rip-stop nylon (one of my favorite things), and when you finally wear yours out, you can send it back for a $1 credit. They're also machine washable, which is key.
