- Im surprised at how much people blindly trust what they see on the intarwebs. The specific heat capacity of the oil is way too high! The CPU will just warm it up a little, but too much of the energy is lost to the air and the tin to get the oil to a its boiling point.

- lol, shopped and fake! Yes, CPUs/northbridges generate some heat, but omg lol - to cook something like that you need a constant temperature of way over 120 degrees C in the oil. At 120 degrees C, your CPU is well and truly toast, and the plastic parts of the Mobo are starting to melt. A full pan of oil is actually a fairly good heat-dispersal system for a CPU.
