Whatever one thinks about Charles Saatchi this online initiative is really a welcome "gift" to the art world. Now we also have to keep in mind that if Saatchi started this it is not for the only sake of this. But what could it be? Only the future will tell. What is already certain is that it will be related to the logic of capital, buying and selling for a large profit. And why not after all? Charles Saatchi did not create the logic of capital, as all of us, he lives under the hegemony of capitalistic rationalism where capital has to grow...
