LafnLion discovered 2 months ago- An MSN money article postulating the effects on our economy if gas hit $10 per gallon. In short, the article states that the change would be extraordinarily painful, but might be good for us in the long run. Europeans and the Japanese already live with $10/gallon gasoline, leading to environmentally more friendly living, recycling, and better public transport. The cost here would be our changing our lifestyles. We've been a nation of gasoline couch potatoes, growing obese on an imported commodity. The change would be expensive, but in the long run worth it. And you'd never see a SUV again, parked in a space for compacts or not.

cano-sk rated 2 months ago- We pay $50 per gallon in Slovakia (price adjusted with respect to average salary) I would be happy to pay $20 or $10. So go fuck yourself with $3.80 per gallon.
