"In 2003, the Hubble Space Telescope took the image of a millennium, an image that shows our place in the universe. Once you understand what this image represents, you will be forever changed by it." Our first peak at what we mentally know to be true is mind altering.

"In 2003, the Hubble Space Telescope took the image of a millennium, an image that shows our place in the universe. Once you understand what this image represents, you will be forever changed by it." . . . forever?? Enlightenment can be followed by slipping back in to unconscious existing. The call of unconscious existence is powerful. It takes awareness and focus to stay in an enlightened state, otherwise there would be more enlightened souls on this earth.

From the page: In 2003, the Hubble Space Telescope took the image of a millennium, an image that shows our place in the universe. Once you understand what this image represents, you will be forever changed by it. An exercise in thought such as the one presented in this video can really allow folks to SURRENDER so much of their worries and feel secure that, in the big picture, the Divine takes care of it all -- even if gas is over four bucks a gallon! Many people, including myself, were excited by the recent arrival of the latest Mars lander on that planet's polar region. Perhaps it will give us clues as to the possibilities of life beyond Earth. But in cosmic terms, Mars is the house next door. All that effort, and thousands of years of human progress, have gotten us only a tiny distance away from home. There is a wide, wide universe left to explore. ............ This is an amazing, mind bending concept to consider. It's only been in the last year that I was able to see the entire Milky Way and wrap my mind around exactly how tiny we are in the whole of our own little system. This just takes it to an entirely new level.

Impressive, until you consider that the second most important image ever taken was that one of Britney Spears's cooter.

I have a couple of astronomer friends who work with the Hubble Telescope at the Space Telescope Center here in Baltimore. I'm always in awe of their "Largeish" rocket scientist brains and the important work they are doing. It's just amazing to think that when we are stargazing into the night sky that even the black voids of seemingly nothingness also contain "gazillions" of galaxies as well. It's Funny to think how egocentric we are as humans, yet so incredibly tiny in the big picture. We have so very much to learn...
