- Compared with a lot of other OSes, Linux is pretty damn secure anyway. Every day kind of bugs are far more annoying. The 'masturbating monkeys' comment made me laugh, so extra 10 points to Linus for adolescent humour.

he should be appreciating that OpenBSD is going that route instead.
chances are they are still making progress and it's not like linux is getting "worse" because of this...
he shouldn't get so flustered about such a small deal.

- Hmm, Linus and Theo should just settle this whole noisy security thing-ey in Thunderdome. Let 'em put their coding where their big mouths are: two OSes enter, one OS leaves. (Although my money's on Linus, since he pegged the Digg crowd as "wanking walruses".)
