A great collection of my favorites from that era. I never liked Mondrian too much until I stumbled upon some of his lesser known works, not typical of the squares with simple primary colors, along with notes that he wrote about them. He was surprizingly brilliant, and could have also been a writer, I think. Thanks for sending this. Great art is being secreted away to museums and private collections, and copies of many great works, particularly of the 20th century, have simply vanished slowly away, unavailable in any form at any price. This work should be available to be appreciated by the average man in his home, in an era which has the technology of mass reproduction techniques, but that drives down the $100,000,000 price of a famous painting. We should all take note of this stealthy theft of what really belongs to all of us. Life imitates art. Kind of reminds me of Farenheit 451. There are many great paintings and sculptures which I remember, but can't find, even on the Internet.

I like this Stumble, and will return to indulge in the images but the commercials are a bloody nuisance - especially when they try telling this poor sod that he's won a prize - oh yes, and George is really a dove in disguise. Please!!!!!!!!!!!

This page is linked to stumbleupon via a commercial offer. Bad practice. More stuff like this and people will start dumping SU.
