the RIAA was originally set up to protect the artists. now that the artists are owned by record labels, the RIAA is protecting a faceless corporation that makes billions yearly.

Finally something is done to reduce the RIAA's hold. The RIAA claims to have lost over $60 Billion just from file sharing which is more then the entire automotive Industry lost in the bail out. The RIAA deserves punishment for lying about many things.
