What is the value of your online privacy? A cautionary tale. Dunn dunn dunnn...

Deal with it you cunt. Fuck whatever rules they made up, you don't have a "right" to not be offended. Yes, they probably are assholes. Yes, you are and have a cunt. If they can get joy out of harassing you, let them. You getting pissed off makes it all the sweeter.

I totally agree with you, Ariel. I'm blogging in Support. You're on Techmeme already.

Bad move, Twitter. If you're going to have people agree to Terms of Service, then they are obligated to enforce them.

A serious issue arises and a service says they're 'scared' and turns face. Pitiful. They need to change their act, quick.

It's was only a matter of time before stalkers resorted to harassing people on Twitter.

Twitter is shy about handling harassment. They should try moderating forum spam. Get a backbone. IT WILL BE OK. From the page: "Jack explained that they're scared to ban someone because they're scared if it turned into a lawsuit that they are too small of a company to handle it."

    Not good press for Twitter.

AS much as I love Twitter, this incidence of not holding harrassing members to the Terms Of Service is very troubling and shows great lack of insight. With all the Twitter downtimes, it makes me wonder whether ALL of their staff are that clueless?
