    I have used this website to make gifts for friends and family. They have always loved them and the software is easy to use, free, and the mosaics turn out beautiful.

    Free software for creating photomosaics. Check out their 1.6 gigapixel mosaic of Van Gogh's 'Starry Night' for an idea of the program's capabilities. Impressive.
