Extremely happy that I stumbled onto this site. Another nice site is the International Dialects of English Archive http://web.ku.edu/~idea/ however, this site is much more organized and vast. I use sites like this for accent work in acting gigs.

the new orleans woman doesn't sound at all like new orleans, probably has lived elsewhere or traveled a lot. same reason I didn't leave a sample as it would mess up their project! great idea and really like the site.

Very cool site! you can now prove the speech differences between regions and countries, would like to see it on some other languages =) ... (oh god, most of the Colombian ones suck u_u)
