- The ugly ducking of the search engine business doesn't have Google's raw power or Yahoo!'s portal-like extras, but Amazon's pet search engine is still one of the most useful engines around. The tabbed interface lets you search the Web, images, blogs, and even Wikipedia, all from the same interface. The fact that regular users get a 1.6 percent discount at Amazon isn't bad either.
