    A US state terror apologist and shameful woman with at least one son supporting terrorist US massacres in Iraq, Afghanistan or both. She is trying very hard to pretend millions of dead Iraquis is just an accident- you won't see any desire to stop the slaughter here, or remorse or even loving dissent against her sons terribly poor choice of career and his participation in the same crime for which the NAZIs were hung: "at the moment he is standing in harm's way for the 5th time fighting for among other things, religious freedom for us and the people over there in the great sandbox. ... He is putting his life on the line because he wants his son to grow up free to worship however he chooses. This my friends, is the face of one of those fighting that battle for us all!" Too much cowardice to face the horrible and exclusive accounts of hundreds of IVAW veterans, journalists shelled by US artillery to stop them reporting on the systematic and deliberate bloodbaths of innocent people by the US military. So afraid of facing the ugly truth about her government's deliberate global oppression from Mexico to Columbia to Turkey to Iraq to Georgia to Pakistan to Indonesia that she'd rather let them do another 9/11 than face it. (911blogger.com/node/10025). I'd put money on the fact that she doesn't know her son at all. Not that I think he's evil, simply that by his 5th tour he must have realized he's with the bad guys by now. Most US state terrorists are too gung-ho when they go in and too feeble to do the honorable thing like Lt. Watada when they realise what's going on is simply mass murder by the world's most sophisticated meat grinder. --- Worddancer isn't responsible for her sons horrible crimes until she tells herself and others lies to make the crimes easier to deny. At that point, she becomes an accomplice. Two obviously criminal deceits she engages in are 1) pretending that her son is there to support "freedom", not there for the money or to avoid jail and 2) the US government and its army isn't there for oil. This is deliberate and wilfully ignorant support for mass murder. Further, her son, being in Iraq, is almost certainly aware, as the IVAW veterans are, that this isn't to designed to bring freedom to Iraquis, but simply to kill them enough that they don't disrupt the theft of Iraqui oil. And that means a LOT of killing. I think her son knows he is there in furthrance of murder and I think he is almost certainly hiding this fact from his mother. Which is why I say I don't think she knows her son at all. In summary, I suspect word-dancer is having trouble with her own conscience, as she should be. This review is merely a symptom. Obviously I don't expect her to betray or abandon her son, maternal love is far too powerful for that, but I absolutely insist she stop deluding herself about exactly what type of dishonorable government sanctioned criminal her son currently is.

    I've read her blog for ages and it's always interesting, charming, real and thoughtful. Word Dancer's website is also sometime naughty and fun and other times serious but always thought provoking. A good read for sure
