WasChabad rated 8 months ago- Yours truly. Who's been handing out all these photos of me? Now everyone will recognize me. Then again, I work at a bowling alley. I set up the pins when they fall. Anyway, what was I saying? Oh, yes, I don't think stumblers have time to bowl. Or have sex. They have more pressing things to do...like stumbling.

EllieBlue rated 9 months ago- "What Kind of Brain Do You Have" Blog by Dave Harlow I have included the dancer below because she is rather fun to play around with. At some point while viewing her you will note that she changes or has changed the direction of her rotation. Initially it was thought that the direction of movement as seen by the viewer, was related to which brain hemisphere was dominant. "What's really happening in the image of the dancer is really just a matter of your perceptual and cognitive flexibility. The image contains just 34 frames running in a constant loop but since the two-dimensional image does not contain enough three-dimensional information to tell the brain which way she is spinning, your brain fills the rest in, as brains are apt to do with optical illusions. In this case the brain can do it one of two ways but which side of your brain is more dominant does not really have a bearing on which way she spins. (credit and thanks to the New Scientist)" Harlow. If you really are interested in the left brain - right brain dichotomy Harlow's blog has more to say and there is a really good video demonstrating what happens when the connection responsible for communicating between a person's right brain and left brain, is severed in an actual human subject.
