belisima rated 20 months ago- This could be my family! You know, nobody needs to be extreamly rich, all you need is love would say beatles' lovers but not only, all you need is money to buy food enough to keep you healthy, decent clothes to keep you warm and nice house to live comfourtable in; you need money to travel around the world and see different point of view about life, everything else is just to show other people wealth. But this here on that picture is something that many people don't have no matter rich or poor love and sharing. Many poor people are not happy not because they don't have money but because they don't have what is shown on that picture, I know it from personal experience from my childhood.

You ask "How does one know that one is recognizing reality rather than falling into resignation?" to which I answer reality is the world of the senses rather than the imagination. When the mind is very calm and wants nothing then what is observed is real. "What does facing reality mean at all?" It means accepting what happens without wishing it to be otherwise. "And to what extent is it possible to shape one's reality and what does it require to do so?" Shaping reality means not accepting it. That runs counter to your previous two questions. My own experience in these matters has been considerably assisted by the practice of Vipassana meditation as taught by S N Goenka. Best wishes in you search.

scotpk rated 22 months ago- If we are to compare anything ... (Newsweek Poland) You 're free to comments, you're free to discuss, you're free to read whatever you want! Different covers, what about insides? I wonder how some may call this a censorship? Did you buy those Newsweeks in a shop (or wherever) or You just browsed them on the internet? Should we rate anything by its cover? I lived in the country, where a real censorship had a great influence on everyday life. It was the tool in use of every dictators in every totalitarian state. I'm sure it is still present in countries like N.Korea or Myanmar. Here and now in Poland, it is over. So is in other European countries. The problem of the world today IMHO is relativism. That's a real threat within Western World. . . Sorry Mikol, but this time would not agree with you, despite the fact that I like your blog :( .
