KahlilaGibran discovered 3 months ago- To former "friends" . . . Is there some unspoken rule that you don't defriend people for fearing of offending them? Well that is the way to ensure your stumbling experience becomes safe, predictable . . . and boring. My rationale in cutting back is this: drop those who are inactive, duplicating material I see elsewhere and/or seldom ever visit or contact me. In many cases I am favouring newer stumblers who don't even have that many pages -- but bring something fresh to the database, personal or otherwise. I think a lot of people get into a habit with stumbling, and it becomes something they do on automatic pilot. I would like to see fewer of those pages, and am certainly not here just for scrapbooking. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Now meet some of my fav stumblers . . .

- jude has been posting a wonderful series about *romances* and the pitfalls of online *hookin'up* here read a bit: In contrast, when you meet a potential lover face to face you are usually picking all this info up by osmosis, and unconsciously moving away from him if he rubs you the wrong way. Your brain doesn't have to know why; it is instinctive. If all is going well with the time you spend together, you're still not making a commitment till you've been around each other a lot. But online, the process is reversed -- unless you have managed to keep things at a friendly level until you actually meet. Those who have been smitten though will remember: you became emotionally involved before crucial information was known. The questioning part of the brain shut down early on and this love became, in fact, a drug. my thoughts, they're somewhere in the archives. but anyway .... humans are earthly creatures .... to *love* is to know and enjoy the whole being ... their words, their thoughts, their taste, feel, smell; the way they look at you and only you ..... just the first two are *admiration*, the next three are *lust* or what i have heard ppl call *being-in-love* ... i admire many on su ... [jude included] ... and lust after some others ... [jude included] ... what i'm saying and what jude has put in a much more eloquent format --- it takes aaaahhhlll of these things [and a good serotonin-reuptake-inhibitor for one or the other at different/same times] to live with someone for 30+ years .... and put up with their pms/man-o-pause without using the remodeling money to hire a different kind of contractor for a completely different job i.e. a *hit* on dear hubby ....had the renovations planned for two years now ... just unsure which would be the best use of the money ..... so i'm biding by time until a clear solution makes itself known .... but daaym'it ... i'm ready for the new pool . ; ) oh yeah for judefa's review of me.... she says i'm over-the-top .... which i find funny ... i've been over the top so many times i'm now considered over-the-edge and completely-out-of-orbit ...... to explain, when i told tom i was posting the new ink ... his reply, "well half the u.s., plus a few foriegn countries have seen that ass; what's a few million on s.u.?" i tend to be a bit of an exihibitionist when i partake of mood-altering chemicals ..... 8 weeks ago this site keeps me returning sooo often....she posts and keeps it interesting...i'll never be bored as long as she's around. and SHE seems to have a knack for speaking MY mind.... - Seems a lot like me, and the Similarity Meter tells me we think alike. Not too sure about the tomtom drums I got when I stumbled her sites, but apart from that . . . I pretty much concur with her views and share her inner emptiness.
