Lots to see here if you like ships! Olympic with Returned Soldiers Painted in 1919 by Arthur Lismer This image is quite amazing - Olympic, one of the Titanic's sister ships, in a First World War dazzle camouflage scheme. This was designed to break up the outline of the ship at sea and make it less easy for submarines to calculate speed, distance and direction for their torpedoes. It also made them look pretty cool!
