Because Clinton kicked the can down the road for eight years in Iraq and Afghanistan and failed to show any kind of backbone...he is the hero of the people who can't remember what happened yesterday...I cannot agree with anyone who thinks it is good to govern by polls or what the majority thinks it wants.
The founding fathers made sure that 51% of the people could never tell the other 49% what to do.
It was the Republican Congress and Newt Gingrich's "Contract with America" that did the most good for the United States during the debacle known as the Clinton years. - You get a big thumbs up just for pointing out that laws are not self-justifying. A simple point I love to harp on but few people seem to recognize.
