After using 99Designs for 5 projects, I am convinced there is no better way to get anything designed. Imagine spending $200 to get a professional business book cover designed where you get 11 designers to turn in 75 designs. What design firm would ever do that? NONE!

Sites like 99designs devalues designers and the industry. Why do you think people don't take designers seriously or value our expertise. 99designs created by designers, shame on them. They should know better. You're suppose to help each other, not hurt them.

99Designs.com is awesome site! The only people you will see complaining about this site are those who can't compete with the brilliant designers working on the site. If you want a logo or website design done at a competitive price, and prefer to choose from more styles and looks than your "normal" designer offers, then this your place. For anyone questioning the skill of the designers...just have a look at the winning designs, that says it all! 3 thumbs up from me!

What communicatrix said. The people who made this site need to DIE. NO SPEC WORK.

Devaluing the work real designers do! Guaranteeing crap work from underpaid "designers" who can't possibly sustain themselves on the low fees generated from exploitative ventures like these! You get what you pay for, people.
