Neo-Luddite propaganda. This type of thinking is pawn to the big telecomms, who are terrified of wi-fi sharing. There is no reason on earth that my closest neighbors should pay for internet access when I can provide it to them for free and at no inconvenience to myself. There will come a day when only the enlightened people will have open networks. Everyone else will be too paranoid. All society will suffer as a result.
