"Is the New DiggBar Pure Evil?"

Not surprisingly, this new feature has generated a lot of controversy throughout the Internet community. While there has been a lot of scattered discussion about why many people feel the new DiggBar is pure evil, here is a centralized look at the three main reasons people are getting upset:

"Yes, You are An Attack Site That Contains Malware, Now Here are What To Do About It"

It’s undeniable how powerful search traffic can be from Google. In addition, search marketers understand how important a specific listing can be in the SERPs. Even if you have high rankings, a poor title or meta description can really hurt your click through.

"Google Forcing Your Hand, Stealing Your Thumbprint"

There are a few things you should know about me. I’ll knock you over for a cupcake in a jar, I still cry every time I watch that Susan Boyle video, and I really hate it when people force me into uncomfortable situations.

"What's Your SEO Code? - Musings on Outing other Websites for Fun and Profit"

This is an important question as far as most people in the SEO community are concerned. Based on the system that information is knowledge, power, and ultimately money, you can see how people often have a vested interest in outing other peoples techniques, or keeping them secret. You also learn very quickly that who you can trust is extremely important.

"The Best in the Link Building Business: Most Linked-To Domains & Pages on the Web"

It's practically logarithmic - the top domains have so many more links than those further down the list. It's little surprise that there's no movement in the top 10, and very limited fluctuation in the top 40. Earning links from tens of thousands of unique domains is extremely hard, but earning hundreds of thousands is a massive undertaking, and one that fewer than 75 domains on the entire web have achieved.

A Deeper Look At Robots.

The Robots Exclusion Protocol (REP) is not exactly a complicated protocol and its uses are fairly limited, and thus it’s usually given short shrift by SEOs. Yet there’s a lot more to it than you might think.

Selecting one among the best might be very tedious job for them, if they are not much aware of the SEM Industry. Many authors have blogged about this and you might have read many articles related to this title.

"Demystifying Google Quality Score & the Click Thru Rate Factor"

Now, average quality score is just an indicator, and not perfect. You might use it to question if your account could be structured better or not. If you get more granular, if you increase CTR, you can lower CPC for the same ad position and increase ROI. Yes, there’s a balance between CTR and CR and Avg Sale- you can optimize for all by focusing on ROAS or ROI. But lower CPC also gets you more clicks and more impressions for the same budget. So when you consider all the factors, choosing a KPI is not as easy as it looks. Dealing with a suite of KPI’s could be too complicated.

Using simulations, a team of German and Russian physicists have pioneered a new technique for particle acceleration, called proton-driven plasma-wakefield acceleration (PWFA). The technique may one day allow machines a fraction of the size of today's accelerators to create the highest-energy particles ever.

"The 24 Hour Party Tweeple"
I was checking into my hotel at SES San Jose last year when I noticed in the lobby a prominent person in our industry…somebody who I’ve followed and read for quite some time. As he walked away from the check-in desk, I introduced myself to him and we briefly shook hands. Quickly, I determined that he was giving me a total “mobile hello” as it was quite clear that I was the only impediment between him and his evening beer / bud / bed. In my entire time in the search industry, this was the only time that I have been so thoroughly blown off by someone.
