But a series of oppressions, begun at a distinguished period,
and pursued unalterably through every change of ministers,
too plainly proves a deliberate systematic plan of reducing us to slavery."

Over the past year, peace activists have voted, lobbied, marched, and taken direct action to end the war in Iraq. Courageous soldiers have refused to fight the war. But Congress has appropriated billions of dollars to continue the war and appears ready to authorize a future military attack on Iran. It's time for taxpayers who oppose this war to join together in nonviolent civil disobedience and show Congress how to cut off the funds for this war and redirect resources to the pressing needs of people."

May 28, 2007 4:20pm (2 reviews) activism, drugs, politics, marijuana, cannabis http://reschedulecannabis.org/- Reschedule Cannabis! and Send The Right Message! are special projects of the New Hampshire Coalition for Common Sense Marijuana Policy -- projects which aim to include anti-prohibition activists of every stripe in a coordinated effort to undermine federal government propaganda and inject truth into public debate about the failed War on Marijuana.
Our purpose is to promote a vigorous and open debate about our nation's drug policies, a debate we feel is long overdue and can only lead to important reforms. We will arm ourselves with knowledge and take our knowledge to the people, in part by simply asking a few simple questions to the individuals who want to be the next U.S. president. We are citizens looking for answers to the nation's problems, and we will not be painted as traitors to the national culture.

We the people, are angry by the arrest and confinement of Lauren Canario by Connecticut Judge Kevin McMahon.
Lauren was protesting the taking of land by eminent domain, and was not a threat of any kind to her country or state.
She was reading a book on the front porch of a friend's house while protesting, but the authorities felt that her actions were that of a criminal.
She was arrested, confined, and was made to undergo a psychiatric evaluation by Kevin McMahon, because she would not talk to her captors.
By law, she had the right to remain silent.
Judge McMahon broke the law, and made her speak. "
