seriously it is ridiculus when you think about it. under the guise of the un and all, the 'top' countries go around policing the world telling them what the can and cannnot do, what the way of life should be and yet arm themselves to the hilt... because they are responsible with their weapons of mass destruction... come on... this is how they encourage terrorism.. yes thats right.. they want it.. the need someone to fight against.

so if a superpower comes knocking on your door trying to pick a fight.. my advice : give them flowers!

anyway. intel have pulled out of the 'one laptop per child' (OLPC) project citing philosophical differences. dont really believe that, this was about money and marketplace as per usual.

the comments here are interesting.. i am still always surprised at the cynics who slate this project saying what is needed in africa is clean water and medicine (true, but worldwide too) when the real problem is that what is needed is fair trade and not aid.

the imbalance of the world is often discussed by those from the top down, but little more is done because economics itself requires an unfair hierarchy.
