    This is essential viewing for anyone with an interest in fair and balanced news. The Australian billionaire Rupert Murdoch is one of the most powerful and dangerous men on the planet because he controls vast chunks of the wests news media. As a consequence he is able to pass his right-wing agenda off as 'news'. He can make or break any political career and when he says 'JUMP' every politician from the President down simply says 'how high, sir'?. In the USA he has made the decision that Bushs version of 'republicanism' best serves his own personal and global business interests (rather than those of the American people) and he has made Fox 'News' a full-time political propaganda channel of the kind that would be tolerated in few other democratic countries. Europeans watch Fox news and either laugh or shake their heads in bewilderment. Whatever happened to the kind of journalism that America used to be proud of ? Would Ed Murrow have worked for Fox ? I think we all know the answer to that.
