"Psalms 31:9 Have mercy upon me, O LORD, for I am in trouble: mine eye is consumed with grief, yea, my soul and my belly.

Psalms 121:1 & 2 I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.

1st Peter 4:12 & 13 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:
But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.

Jeremiah29:11-13 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.
And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

From the page: "Martial Law Has Arrived

    By Nancy Levant

Okay, what does it take to declare Martial Law in America? It takes 1) a declared state of emergency, 2) a readied "homeland" paramilitary system to enforce the powers of Martial Law, and 3) one signature of the one person who has the authority to make the declaration.

So, let's get this straight. 1) In 1933, America's WAS declared into a state of emergency, which has never been rescinded. We ARE PRESENTLY in a declared state of emergency (and have been for nearly 75 years), 2) multiple paramilitary systems have been raised, readied, operating, and practicing - beginning in 1974, and 3) the president of the united States need only sign a piece of paper to END the constitutional government of the united States.

On May 9, 2007, our president signed a National Security Presidential Directive - an unconstitutional piece of paper - which gave to himself the powers of total dictatorship over the entire nation (NSPD-51) and CONgress has no say so whatsoever. Can you say "total dictatorship?"

But more to the point, the question we must ask ourselves is this: are we NOW under Martial Law? We know for a fact that our constitutional rights have been politically and bureaucratically eliminated; we know for a fact that the global government has been raised; we know for a fact that the NAU is a fast-track reality; we know for a fact that the United Nations has absconded with our traditional military (who are not coming back to the states); we know for a fact that the United Nations Agenda 21 mandates that we live, believe, think, and act according to their worldly directives; we know for a fact that the International Property Maintenance Code has silently maneuvered itself into ALL American communities - much like Eminent Domain and land trust organizations - patiently awaiting the directive to seize MOST American homes; we know for a fact that the Civilian Labor Camps are up and readied; we know for a fact that disarmament is sneaking up on us like all global-political veils; we know for a fact that a shadow dictatorship manages our 2-Party system; we know for a fact that the largest global corporations in the world buy all laws into existence, AND we know for a fact that our FEAR is translating into a completely FRACTURED resistance to all-the-above. WE are in DEEP TROUBLE, America! The whole world is in deep trouble.

It is this writer's opinion that we ARE in a passive state of Martial Law RIGHT NOW."

North American union plan headed to Congress in fall

WASHINGTON - A powerful think tank chaired by former Sen. Sam Nunn and guided by trustees including Richard Armitage, Zbigniew Brzezinski, Harold Brown, William Cohen and Henry Kissinger, is in the final stages of preparing a report to the White House and U.S. Congress on the benefits of integrating the U.S., Mexico and Canada into one political, economic and security bloc.

The final report, published in English, Spanish and French, is scheduled for submission to all three governments by Sept. 30, according to the Center for Strategic & International Studies.

CSIS boasts of playing a large role in the passage of the North American Free Trade Agreement in 1994 - a treaty that set in motion a political movement many believe resembles the early stages of the European Community on its way to becoming the European Union.

"The results of the study will enable policymakers to make sound, strategic, long-range policy decisions about North America, with an emphasis on regional integration," explains Armand B. Peschard-Sverdrup, director of CSIS' Mexico Project. "Specifically, the project will focus on a detailed examination of future scenarios, which are based on current trends, and involve six areas of critical importance to the trilateral relationship: labor mobility, energy, the environment, security, competitiveness and border infrastructure and logistics.""

From the Page: "In order to strengthen the capacity of Canadian, U.S., and Mexican administration officials
and that of their respective legislatures to analyze, comprehend, and anticipate North
American integration, the CSIS North America Project proposes to carry out a series of
    seven closed-door roundtable sessions.
To capture the very best thinking on the six issues that will be covered, each of the
roundtable sessions will convene a combination of practitioners (from each respective
administration and legislature); stakeholders (from the private sector and conceivably even
labor unions); and highly specialized academics and analysts from Canada, the United States,
and Mexico. Limiting the number of participants to between 21 and 45 individuals--with an
equal number from each nation--should allow for free-flowing and balanced discussion.

Independent of these trilateral brainstorming sessions, the CSIS North America Project will
conduct additional research and review the very latest published and unpublished works
produced in all three countries. In the spirit of a North American partnership, the CSIS
North America Project is receptive to collaborating with Canadian and Mexican research
institutions. In Mexico, CSIS will be collaborating with the CIDE.

To adhere to the desired time line for this project, as well as to budgetary parameters, the
North American Future 2025 project will derive its assumptions from existing projection
scenarios, such as Mapping the Global Future: Report of the National Intelligence Council's 2020
Project; "Dreaming with the BRICS: The Path to 2050," a Goldman Sachs study issued in
October 2003; relevant projection scenarios from Statistics Canada and Mexico's Instituto

    Mexico Expands Electronic Surveillance
    May 25, 2007 at 1:36 AM

MEXICO CITY, May 25 (UPI) -- Mexico is widening its capacity for electronic surveillance, using funds from Washington to expand its ability to tap telephone calls and e-mail.

The expansion comes as new President Felipe Calderon pushes to amend the Mexican Constitution to allow phone taps without a judge's approval in some cases, The Los Angeles Times reported.

Calderon says the government needs the expanded authority to combat drug gangs.

Mexican officials have long had authority to wiretap most telephone conversations and tap into e-mail, the newspaper said, but the new $3 million Communications Intercept System being installed by Mexico's Federal Investigative Agency will allow investigators to track cell phone users as they travel, contract specifications indicate.

The new system provides extensive data storage capacity and will allow voice identification of callers, the Times said.

The system, which was paid for with funds from the U.S. State Department, is scheduled to begin operation this month."

    Immigration bill debate begins
Foes of sweeping bipartisan overhaul promise a stiff challenge in the Senate
By Nicole Gaouette - Originally published May 22, 2007

The Senate began debate yesterday on a sweeping bipartisan bill that could yield the most significant changes in the nation's immigration law in 20 years.

Before lawmakers voted 69-23 to begin the debate, the bill's opponents promised a bruising fight, taking to the Senate floor to protest the way the measure was written, the way it will be debated and what it would do.

With debate set to formally begin today, Republicans and Democrats are gearing up for a fight to reshape the bill.

Some Republicans have said that they want to scrap the provision that would allow illegal immigrants to gain citizenship, a key objective for Democrats.

Democrats have set their sights on the Republican-sponsored attempt to reduce the emphasis on reuniting families and to create a merit-based system meant to help the economy.

Republicans, who have been sharply divided over the issue of what opponents of the measure call amnesty, are struggling over the "Z visa," which would allow the nation's estimated 12 million illegal immigrants to live legally in the United States for eight years and work toward citizenship.
    ..........................................................
Several Republican lawmakers took the Senate floor to lodge complaints. Sen. Jeff Sessions of Alabama, who led opposition to the bill yesterday, objected to the closed-door work by the coalition's work.

"Who was in this room where you all met?" he asked. "Who's going to decide what's in that bill? The whole Senate or not?"

Sen. David Vitter, a Louisiana Republican, objected to the scant time senators were given to prepare.

"The first time this legislation was available to me was 2 a.m. on Saturday," he said, adding that it could be 1,000 pages long in its final form.

"Why are we in rush to pass this bill? If the American people fully understood what was buried in this bill, they would be outraged.""

  • Senate Immigration Bill Would Allow 100 Million New Legal...

    From the page:"
Senate Immigration Bill Would Allow 66 Million New Legal Immigrants over the Next Twenty Years

"If enacted, the Comprehensive Immigration Reform Act (CIRA, S.2611) would be the most dramatic change in immigration law in 80 years, allowing an estimated 103 million persons to legally immigrate to the U.S. over the next 20 years--fully one-third of the current population of the United States.

Much attention has been given to the fact that the bill grants amnesty to some 10 million illegal immigrants. Little or no attention has been given to the fact that the bill would quintuple the rate of legal immigration into the United States, raising, over time, the inflow of legal immigrants from around one million per year to over five million per year. The impact of this increase in legal immigration dwarfs the magnitude of the amnesty provisions.

In contrast to the 103 million immigrants permitted under CIRA, current law allows 19 million legal immigrants over the next twenty years. Relative to current law, then, CIRA would add an extra 84 million legal immigrants to the nation's population.

The figure of 103 million legal immigrants is a reasonable estimate of the actual immigration inflow under the bill and not the maximum number that would be legally permitted to enter. The maximum number that could legally enter would be almost 200 million over twenty years--over 180 million more legal immigrants than current law permits.

    Immigration Status
To understand the provisions of CIRA, largely based on a compromise by Senators Chuck Hagel (R-Nebraska) and Mel Martinez (R-Florida), it is useful to distinguish between the three legal statuses that a legal immigrant might hold:

    1. Temporary Status: Persons in this category enter the U.S. temporarily and are required to leave after a period of time.

    2. Near-Permanent, Convertible Status: Persons in this category enter the U.S. and are given the opportunity to "adjust" or convert to legal permanent residence after a few years.

    3. Legal Permanent Residence (LPR): Persons in this category have the right to remain in the United States for their entire lives. After five years, they have the right to naturalize and become citizens. As naturalized citizens, they have the constitutional rights to vote and to receive any government benefits given to native-born citizens.
A key feature of CIRA is that most immigrants identified as "temporary" are, in fact, given convertible status with a virtually unrestricted opportunity to become legal permanent residents and then citizens.

Another important feature of both CIRA and existing immigration law is that immigrants in convertible or LPR status have the right to bring spouses and minor children into the country. Spouses and dependent children will be granted permanent residence along with the primary immigrant and may also become citizens. In addition, after naturalizing, an immigrant has the right to bring his parents into the U.S. as permanent residents with the opportunity for citizenship. There are no numeric limits on the number of spouses, dependent children, and parents of naturalized citizens that may be brought into the country.Additionally, ............................."

Cost of Senate Immigration Bill Put at $126 Billion
By Jonathan WeismanWashington Post Staff Writer
    Tuesday, August 22, 2006

The Senate's embattled immigration bill would raise government spending by as much as $126 billion over the next decade, as the government begins paying out federal benefits to millions of new legal workers and cracks down on the border, a new Congressional Budget Office analysis concludes.

Law enforcement measures alone would necessitate the hiring of nearly 31,000 federal workers in the next five years, while the building and maintenance of 870 miles of fencing and vehicle barriers would cost $3.3 billion. Newly legalized immigrants would claim nearly $50 billion in federal benefits such as the earned income and child tax credits, Medicaid, and Social Security."
