Sarah Palin high as a kite in Colorado.
Folks from around the state are gathering this week to talk prairie in Fort Worth, the city once referred to as the Queen of the Prairies.
File 6894The State of the Prairie Conference, hosted by the Native Prairies Association of Texas and the Coastal Prairie Partnership, will be held May 29-31 at the Fort Worth Botanic Garden.
From the page: "Abbott窶s decision to keep company with Nugent did him no harm at all in the state."
From the page: "In southeast Greenland, more than 100 billion tons of liquid water soaks a slushy snow layer buried anywhere from 15 to 160 feet (5 to 50 meters) below the surface. This snow aquifer covers more than 27,000 square miles (70,000 square kilometers) 窶" an area bigger than West Virginia 窶" researchers reported on Dec. 22 in the journal Nature Geoscience."
From the page: "If anything is a threat to the national security of the United States of America, it is this screaming, unrefined oaf with as much class as a searing release of flatulence followed by hysterical giggling at a state banquet. Is this what the people of the USA deserve?"
From the page: " LaPierre is nothing more than a cheap, dangerous demagogue, constantly trying to act as if he and an association that represents an amazingly small percentage of gun owners in this country are the ones who represent the heart and soul of America, when all they are doing is fronting for the big gun companies who help fund the NRA. LaPierre isnât a patriot, heâs a pimp.
He ends it with this:
So now Sarah Palin, the real cheerleader in the room in Houston, desperate to remain famous, becomes as much a face of the NRA as she has ever been. She does it by sounding as mean and dumb and angry as anybody in her audience, calling parents of children lost at Sandy Hook Elementary School âoebackdropsâ for anti-gun rallies. And then, just because unintended self-parody is another of her specialties â" like a great basketball playerâs go-to move â" she accuses the majority of Americans who want better gun control of exploiting tragedy."
We're adults. We're at a university
I don't like your attitude very much. It seems very entitled and imperious. You say you have done everything legally required, and there will be no more tax returns. Not only do you say it, you say it with a snarl, as if those you're asking to vote for your husband are simply too stupid to understand what a tax return filed by a Very Wealthy Couple looks like. As if you're saying "we've given all you people need to know."
From the page: "The discovery of three new fossil specimens, announced on Wednesday, is the most compelling evidence yet for multiple lines of evolution in our own genus, Homo, scientists said. The fossils showed that there were at least two contemporary Homo species, in addition to Homo erectus, living in East Africa as early as two million years ago. "
From the page: "Creationism is about overtly and covertly inflicting religion upon government. "
From the page: "Isn't it true that hiring new workers is ALWAYS the last resort for any business?
Which one is true, that the economy is sluggish because demand is so anemic, or because rich "job creators" aren't rich enough?
Why would "job creators" hire new workers if demand still sucks for their business?
Why is a booming economy good for the President and Democrats and bad for Republicans?
Why are Republicans focusing more on abortion than jobs?"
The Fort Wayne Journal Gazette (January 3, 2012) editorially criticized Indiana's Senate Bill 89. Introduced by Dennis Kruse (R-District 14), the bill, if enacted, would amend the Indiana Code to provide that "[t]he governing body of a school corporation may require the teaching of various theories concerning the origin of life, including creation science, within the school corporation."
The first requirement is that we be convinced that any life run on self-will can hardly be a success.
Just the best.
