Israel is an apartheid state. It's been one since its creation in 1948. Professor Gordon is quite brave to make this statement in the LA Times and the editors of the LA times should be commended for having the courage to print it. Both parties can expect to be attacked by the Israel Lobby over the next several weeks. May God give them strength to withstand it. Bravo!

And the vice continues to close. Israel is preparing to take all of Jerusalem and the West Bank. This is just one of many actions by that state since Obama took office to attempt to create facts on the ground.

I am speechless after seeing this. I watched it this morning on LinkTV.

The US is just as bad as Israel. Well, we haven't built walls yet or created religion only communities, but all the rest, we're as evil and immoral. I know what's said is true. I know enough about South/Central American politics and history from living there and speaking the languages. That my country is so immoral, I know I shouldn't be surprised, but this video really knocked me for a loop. Excellent and every American NEEDS to see it. This is why people hate us and if we did it in 1989 in Panama, we're doing it today in Iraq and Afghanistan. BTW, we're escalating again, Columbia. Also if you take the time to watch this, substitute Castro of Chavez for Noriega. Same game plan. We also used it on Saddam.

I was speaking with a former Israeli intelligence person last week and we both agreed that we believe the end to Zionism will come in the next twenty years. He asked me "What do you think will signal the end?" I replied. "Parents sacrifice their lives for their children and then turn and sacrifice the lives of their children to the state. When the mothers on both sides decide they're tired of sacrificing their children for the state AND when the question becomes what is just rather than who is right or wrong, Zionism will end. The racist will return to their own countries and the good people on both sides will work together to build a new Israel that gives equal rights and equal opportunity to all."
I firmly believe that and I think that as more and more Jews realize that the actions of the state of Israel under the guise of Zionism which hides behind Judaism hurts not only them but their faith by turning it into something God never intended, more will protest. Judaism, as tasked to the Hebrews and Israelites was to be the light unto the world that demonstrated God's goodness and greatness. I don't believe He intended it to be the blowtorch of the world demonstrating the domain of evil, that of death, murder, destruction, theft and deception. Zionism does this. Judaism does not.

I agree with the below: Polysci major says she knows her sh** but when asked who Netanyahu is, she has no clue. And she's in Israel. Nice job on this Mondo. The shear level of hatred, self-pity, racism and ignorance these kids show. They don't even realize how utterly hateful and self-absorbed they are.
Fortunately not all American Jews are this hateful, ignorant, self-absorbed and misinformed. Those that are represent a minority. All that I know are quite the opposite, even those who occasionally I get into some pretty heated debates with and call themselves Zionists...though I have met several like those shown in this video. Usually when I'm in Israel.

Don't buy that it's the 'Democrats' telling Obama to 'ease up' on Israel. It's the Israel Lobby that supplies 50% of all funds to the Democratic Party (38% to the Republicans) telling him. Expect lots of 'Oh he's so mean to poor little Israel' and more fear mongering. Full court press will go something like this: ADL will come out and say anti-semitism is on the rise. AIPAC and other members of the lobby will begin seeding US papers with editorials denouncing Obama's stance as unreasonable. You'll see an increase in holocaust related programming in the US, (and mentions in the US media) and pro-Zionists groups will ratchet up the rhetoric within their camps. Fear will lead the day.
In the end, here's the deal. All Israeli settlements outside the green line are illegal and under the 4th Geneva Conventions every person who lives in them and every company that does business in or with these settlements is committing a war crime. Israel has a problem with settlements and the Palestinians because Israel chose to violate international law beginning in 1948. Israel chose to discriminate against the Palestinians and wipe them off the map beginning in 1948 and they made this part of their laws in 1950. Israel and Israel alone is the cause of its problems. Its policies created the strife, not the Arabs and it's these policies that have created the longest running occupation of the past 100 years. Obama is simply not allowing them to lie and cajole their way out of it anymore. And they don't like it.

  • Plan for Palestinian state is 'dead end,' Israel tells...

Rated Apr 18 2009 2 reviews middle east, israel, human rights, zionism, us policy mcclatchydc.com

The requiring Palestinians and the rest of the world to recognize Israel as Jewish Only is the reason it can never happen.

In 1993 as part of the Oslo peace process, Palestinians and the Arab nations did recognize Israel's existence. To clarify, they recognized a political entity referred to as a nation state. As to rights, no nation state has a right to exist. If they did, then Stalin's Soviet Union and Hitler's Third Reich would have to be reinstituted and preserved. Nation states are man made and have only been in existence since the fifteenth century making this issue, a non-issue. Its purpose is to force Palestinians to quit all claims to the land, businesses and homes stolen from them by Israel from 1947 onward by stating that the nation state of Israel has a right to exist as Jewish Only. Even the charter written up by the United Nations in 1947 states otherwise. As a condition of statehood Zionists were given a specific area of land and the leaders agreed to create a constitution within six months that guaranteed equal rights and status to all living in the land without prejudice as to race, origin, sex or faith.

More than sixty years later, Israel continues to violate the agreement creating it. Israel still doesn't have a constitution; it ignored the boundaries given it in 1947 and has yet to set its borders. And Israel still hasn't granted equal rights to non-Jews or Jews of Arabic descent. The state reneged on each major promise it made to the world community in exchange for its independence.

Secondly, to `recognize Israel's right to exists as Jewish only', which is what is required, immediately dehumanizes anyone who is not Jewish. This new requirement emerged from the Camp David Accords as a stalling method. It is a requirement no nation can accommodate, and the state of Israel knows this. A nation is a group of people with a common culture, such as the Nation of Islam, the Nation of Israel or the Cherokee Nation. All nations have a right to exist and no one, including Hamas, Fatah, Hezbollah or any other current target of Israel has stated otherwise, nor would they. To state such would violate the faith of all three major religions in the region.

Here's a stat that surprised me. 25% of the world's jailed population is in the United States, a country that is only 5% of the world's population? Seems incredible. Guess that's our tax dollars at work.

This is an amazing documentary and phenomenal example of undercover journalism. Gut wrenching and fascinating at the same time. According to the filmmakers, 70,000 children are kidnapped in China every year, mostly boys and sold to families that want boys. Or trafficked. If a woman gets pregnant a second time and doesn't abort, they are fined up to five years wages and often lose their home as penalty for not having a 'birth permit'. In a society that's 401k is the children, only boys stay with the parent. When they marry, girls live with and support their husband's family. It's also forced parents to chose to abort girls, (40 million in 30-years) to keep their sons...which has caused shortage in girls and leaving millions of men with the ability to marry and find a wife. A must see, and largely in Chinese with subtitles. It really makes you glad you live in the United States and it makes me want to adopt a little Chinese girl.

B'tselem does some great work and they have offices in most major American cities. This explains why many Palestinian homes are razed because they don't have permits. They don't have permits because Palestinians are not permitted to have them. That's just one example of the apartheid policies of Israel. Apartheid simply means segregated with laws to enforce that segregation. Two people and two sets of laws. That's also a key aspect of fascism.
