Edward Griffin is one of the best experts on the Federal Reserve. This 42 minute video will give you a sound understanding. This is why the US and world are teetering on Depression. It's also what policy makers are afraid to touch.

More on the bailouts. I'm amused here in England listening to the BBC A reporter did bring up the idea that maybe the Bank of England was the problem, (bingo, also a central bank like The Fed) and the person being interviewed, part of the Banking system and vehemently denied such. But it does show people are starting to question as more and more banks fall, (mine went down Friday)and inflation, the by product of central banking, makes it tougher and tougher to get by. Only 7% of Americans want a bailout. This article gives you the ammunition to argue with that 7% as well as a few extra facts.

This is an important opinion piece in the Los Angeles Times. The Bush Administration is attempting to erode the Constitution further. Even thou they shall be out of power, the majority of those supporting them will not. Congress has the power to declare war. This is so the people of the United States do not become fodder for fortune hunters and their own personal army. We were never intended to have a standing army as we now have because a standing army needs something to do and that's where imperialism and meddling comes from. Now forces in our government want to eliminate further safeguards so they can declare more wars? Granted, between 1945 and 911 we've been engaged in 200 undeclared wars. One must ask why this proposal is being put forth now.

A friend who is a lawyer sent this to me, ( I should also mention he's devote in Judaism but rejects Zionism). See what he has to say and be sure to read the commentary below this from Harvard which Shows The Lobby attempting to censor free speech and information there too.

"Here is another attack on academic freedom and free speech. According to many Pluto Press has a reputation second to none in the academic world: plutobooks.co.uk/shtml/authorguide.shtml [plutobooks.co.uk/shtml/authorguide.shtml]
Pluto's owner and director, Roger van Zwanenberg is Jewish, and that Pluto has published among many the following authors: Daniel Dor, Michel Warschawski, John Rose, Israel Shahak , Nur Masalha, Marc H. Ellis, Noam Chomsky, Jeff Halper, Uri Avnery, and Ghada Karmi. Joel Kovel the author's whose book Overcoming Zionism and the object of the the attacks is himself Jewish. Here is a quote from the article:

'A blog that has defended Pluto is arguing that the "Zionist thought police" inflamed the situation, leading the university to adopt procedures that assured that it would have no choice but to cut ties to Pluto. And that blogger didn't even think Overcoming Zionism was that thoughtful a book in its critique of Israel.'"--EC

Excellent article here on yesterday's Supreme Court ruling.
One of the multitude of issues I have with the current administration in the United States, (and I'm a conservative thou there is nothing conservative about this administration) is its fascist approach to the constitution and our nation. Fascism has two defining factors: a two-tiered legal system which is applied differently to one group versus another. The other is creating that separation, where there is an us and a they. Democratic republics do not make such distinctions, nor do they deny rights based upon geography. Treatment of individuals is to be based upon universal human rights: the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Specific benefits, (such as voting) are given when one accepts the responsibility of citizenship, but being or not being a citizen has no effect on an individuals human rights. These rights have no borders and they do not discriminate. If one is a human being.,one is entitled regardless of where they are in the world, who they are or what they are. The entire premise of democracy is involvement and acknowledgment of all as equal under the law. This policy of treating individuals differently and applying different laws to them than are extended to American residents (or in the of Sami Al Aran, withheld due to his faith, race and political views) violates everything the United States is intended to stand for. When the Supreme Court issued its ruling, I clapped, thou I was dismayed that the vote remained so close, 5 for and 4 against. What I wonder is how many rights and freedoms we will all lose before the average American figures out he or she is no longer, 'free'. We can't be a free people if we do not treat others the way we expect to be treated. Anything less is hypocrisy and sets us on the road to serfdom once again

This is a very important case because it upholds the fact that paying Federal Income Taxes in the United States is voluntary and it is also unconstitutional. None of the 48 states in 1916 ratified the 16th Amendment. The IRS is a private corporation working with the US Government but as the enforcement arm of the Federal Reserve, a private central bank owned by roughly 300 individuals. The Federal Reserve is also unconstitutional. In the US the Congress is the only body with the right and authority to print money.

Philip Tourney who I met about 6-months ago is a USS Liberty survivor. The Israeli Airforce and Navy pummeled, bombed and attempted to sink the USS Liberty in International waters on June 8th 1967. The Israelis killed 34 American Sailors/Marines and wounded another 171. To this day, the the attack has never been thoroughly investigated and the survivors and their families have never received justice in the most deadly attack on a US ship in peace time. Israel continues to deny intent and The Lobby regularly goes after the surviors and their families whenever they attempt to bring light to this issue and seek justice.
This new weekly radio program is dedicated to exploring issues of injustice of which the plight of the USS Liberty could be the poster child.

More of that censorship our nation says doesn't exist.

From the page: In what appears to be another disturbing case of Internet censorship, the major email server Yahoo.com has blocked the delivery of our February 20th newsletter, "Vital 9/11 Information Provides Solid Evidence of Major Cover-up." Two of our regular subscribers who use Yahoo independently notified us that the above email was "not allowed - UP Email not accepted for policy reasons." They have not had problems with other emails sent by us. This statement appears to indicate that the email was blocked because of its title and/or content. We suspect that Yahoo has adopted a policy against its customers receiving information about the 9/11 cover-up. We've heard from various sources that they are not allowing other sensitive political messages as well.
