Israel is an apartheid state. It's been one since its creation in 1948. Professor Gordon is quite brave to make this statement in the LA Times and the editors of the LA times should be commended for having the courage to print it. Both parties can expect to be attacked by the Israel Lobby over the next several weeks. May God give them strength to withstand it. Bravo!

And the vice continues to close. Israel is preparing to take all of Jerusalem and the West Bank. This is just one of many actions by that state since Obama took office to attempt to create facts on the ground.

The Zionists did not make the 'desert bloom', nor did they populate an empty land. What they did was ethnically cleanse the area of non-white people. This slide presentation shows the beauty of Palestine before the Zionists destroyed it. Enjoy.

Nice to see the French putting their walk and talk about human rights into action! Doesn't take much people. You want to change the world without firing a shot, attack the economic structure. Americans can start by not purchasing from T-Moble, Starbucks, Payless Shoe Source, Intel, Catepillar and other companies that materially support apartheid, genocide and the oppression of people because of their faith and race. Europe has a lot more products from Israel because they ship fresh fruits and vegetables, many of these grown in the illegal settlements. The US gets a lot of jewelry, 'beauty products with Dead sea salts and mud', electronics and canned foods like Tahini, (sesame paste).

Yes Virginia, Israel is an apartheid state and has always been an apartheid state since the day it became a state and used ethic cleansing and terror to take from others. Even the South Africans are appalled at how much worse it is in Israel. The big difference? Israel is ethnically cleansing and is determined to eliminate people one way or another based upon race and faith. It's racism on steroids. South Africa was oppressing but wanted to keep the people for low level work. Furthermore apartheid is a symptom of fascism and one cannot be a democracy, where all are equal and all are included and be fascist at the same time. Apartheid excludes. Democracy includes. One can never be democratic and apartheid. It's an oxymoron also known as fascist. Israel is not the foremost democracy in the Middle East. You cannot be a democracy by selection. However Israel is the foremost Apartheid State in the Middle East and currently the only Apartheid state in the world. Israel's Jewish population needs to decide whether it wants to go down in history as the world's worst perpetrators of racism, (they've beat the Nazi by 500% now). Or if they want to go down in history as good people who care about others. Right now, they fit the first description.

The sooner the rest of the world refuses to deal with Israeli apartheid, the sooner it will end. There is NO EXCUSE for Israel's behavior. It's time we all stopped supporting and allowing it. There is nothing humane about Israel's treatment of non-Jews. And their is nothing Jewish about it either.

    Guys-
I'm sitting on the 10-page dossier from Mohammed on this ordeal which we completed Saturday and I can't let it out until he signs off on it. Currently he's in the hospital again in Gaza with several broken ribs. I don't know when I'll be able to release it to the press and governments, but as soon as I do, you'll be the first to know.

Unfortunately, Christian Zionists in America do not consider the Christians living in Jerusalem or Palestine since Christ's birth to be real Christians. You see, the Christians in Jerusalem, actually follow Christ and emulate Him rather than use Him as is common in America's evangelical, dispensationalist and rapture ready go-go-go for war Christian Right.
Some American Christians living in East Jerusalem for the past three years, friends I visited on my last trip there this spring spoke of the constant racism, 2nd class treatment and difficulties visited upon the Christians and Muslims of Jerusalem by the Israelis. Getting a bed delivered to the house proves difficult since Jewish companies, (I'm sure exceptions exist, they just haven't found them) won't deliver to non-Jewish houses. That's just a sampling of the segregation and difficulties Christians and Muslims under Israeli rule and occupation endure. And they endure it because misguided Christians in the United States support the oppression of Christians and Muslims in Israel fully.

I have one question for the so-called born agains, rapture ready and dispensationalists: What would Jesus do? Or have you forgotten? Try reading the Sermon on the Mount again and then take a trip through Matt: 25 and let me know how your racism and blind support of apartheid and Zionism supports scripture. I realize these passages are inconvenient to your warped biblical world view, but they are the essence of Christianity. You should try it some time...following Christ rather than Darby that is.

BTW: Our Lobby owned congress yesterday approved a 170 million dollar increase in security assistance to Israel as part of its new 10-year, 30 billion dollar defense aid commitment to the apartheid state. The vote was 94-6. Wonder how many people losing their homes and jobs in California would think taxpayer money better spent on supporting Americans rather than supporting apartheid? Bet quite a few.

Just in case you start to get really frustrated with all the violence, racism, apartheid and hypocritical news coming out of the Holy Land, This is one of a growing number of groups working together and paving the way for a future in the region of equality, democracy and equal rights, where one isn't judged by their religion or the color of their skin, merely upon their actions and character.

I'm going to start uploading the photos Mohammed was able to get out of Gaza showing what the Israelis are up to. They required all foreigners leave. What ensued beginning on January 9th is a full scale massacre against a largely defenseless civilian population. Israel is the 4th largest nuclear superpower in the world with a full navy, air force and army. It has been occupying and subjugating the Palestinians through discrimination, siege, apartheid, land confiscation, denial of rights, state instituted terrorism, summary executions (it calls 'targeted assasinations', starvation, kidnapping of civilians including children, (it calls 'detention or administration detention'), torture, home demolitions, broken treaties, armed colony development (it calls 'settlements in the territories'), its wall designed to take more land, (the first draft of its path was written in 1973 and it became part of planned policy with Ariel Sharon, a war criminal under international law and by international court decree) in 1978.
The Palestinians fight this Goliath with homemade rockets, small weapons and homemade bombs. The United States protects, arms and finances Israel in its war against civilians. Those who choose to fight back like the resistance fighters in the Warsaw Ghetto uprising, in France during WWII or in Afghanistan against the Soviets are called 'terrorists' by Israel. Under international law, they are called resistance.

I spent about 1 1/2 hours on the phone with Mohammed in Rafah today, speaking about the articles we need to do for the upcoming month and his book, which I've agreed to work on him with. We have a publisher...now I just have to get the outline and finish editing the first two chapters by this Friday! Yikes.

Given what is occurring in Gaza for the past six months, Mohammed has fallen into a state of apathy and depression. I just found out today that the paper we've been supplying with weekly articles in Norway, their number one weekly, hasn't paid him since the first of the year, (I take no money or credit on the articles). I'm livid. How dare they. Currently I'm checking with a few friends in International law to see what our options are.

Writing is the only source of income he has to support eight people in a war zone. Given the book, I decided to take a tour through his archived photos and like the first time I saw them in 2002, I continue to be in awe. Run a Google on 'Palestinian' and you get a lot of Israeli hate photos. These are the photos you should be seeing. I've linked to the July 2007 pictorial. The full scope of his work can be seen here: rafah.virtualactivism.net/news/todaymainmain.htm [rafah.virtualactivism.net/news/todaymainmain.htm]

Today he got quite angry at the American people, frustrated that we continue to support Israeli oppression. How much longer, he wondered, before Americans realize what they are doing?
I told him not long. We're an extraordinary self-centered, self-righteous people who care little about anything as long as we can put gas in our cars and live in nice houses. But that is ending. With that ending, people will begin to question and with questions they will see. Our endless wars on tactics, our supporting Israel while our own people in New Orleans starve and become homeless, this will end and end soon.
He replied, "I don't see this changing until after 2010."
I agreed. But I also told him America is in for a world of hurt and we're just now starting to pay for decades of oppression, imperialism, gluttony, waste, selfishness, blindness, unjust laws and invasions. Give it time. Nothing mobilizes change like the inability to feed, clothe and house your family...and we're heading that way now. Americans cannot afford Israeli elitism much longer. We cannot even afford to pay our mortgages.

As we wrapped up our conversation at quarter to midnight his time, I heard a rat-tat-tat in the background in quick succession. Referencing the F-16 that had flown over a half hour before, I asked, 'Is that the F-16 firing?" Israeli pilots often blow up homes in Gaza under the guise of security.

He responded, "No, that's not an M-16," misunderstanding me but answering my question anyway. "Those are Kalishnakov's; they sound different than M-16's."

For me to hear the Kalishnakov's over a cell phone connection means they were within 250 ft of him. I cannot even imagine living like that.
