One of the big New York retailers of Fountain Pens. Never bought from them, so no comments there. Illustrated is Graf von Faber-Castell's limited edition pen for 2005. Generally I don't approve of 'Limited Editions' (all models are limited in number; some LEs are overblown and unusable; prices are frequently ludicrous), but when a manufacturer takes a successful model and produces it in special materials as a LE, they are often worth considering.
This is partially covered in stingray skin. "Galuchat or stingray leather is considered to be the most durable leather in the world, offering a soft and smooth feel while being remarkably resilient as well as both waterproof and fireproof." Looks good - a touch heavy for my hand, but beautifully made.

Merino-Teflon I dream about becoming a pirate and taking over a Brisbane City-Cat, becoming the scourge of the Brisbane River, eventually I would hire a rocket scientist to modify my vessel so that it could leaves the waters and float above the city, whereupon me and my crew would descend upon suburbs on golden ropes to rape houses and pillage women and children. I also dream of my cousin, which is ok at the time but disturbing when I wake up, this dream I shan't try to realise as she would probably kick me. Ouch.

Seems like it's been TWO YEARS since I've updated my review of my dear friend, the amazing, funny, wonderful and incredibly talented LightChaser! And as the years go by, he does keep getting better and BETTER! :) Yesh? Yesh!
update: It will be one year ago tomorrow since I originally reviewed my buddy LightChaser. The only thing that has changed is that his blog is even better than ever, and I found out what a great guy he is, too! Que? Ha ha ha ha! :)
