This web site might be a good idea, but you could just write it all down for each other.
It's a great idea to do this. When we bought our house, the husband (seller) handled all of the home maintenance. He was very ill and died soon after the sale of the house. We have no idea how deep our water well is, when certain improvements were made to the home, etc.
