Old, and trite. It does say that evil is always non-negative (since one can take its square root) and given that girls equal evil also girls must be non-negative.
This is quite horrible. Mathematics does teach reasoning. Further, most mathematicians are capable of writing - the quality of writing in math course material tends to be fairly high when compared to several other subjects.
