From the page: "Microsoft has acquired the license to the patents underlying the Weedshare system, with the presumed intention of extending the model used on the Zune to include the extensible ecommerce models supported by Weed - as well as picking up access to content produced by independent artists already using the Weedshare system. WeedShare pioneered the 3 free plays scheme and now MicroSoft has stolen it for their Zune player and does not support Weed music files even though WeedShare uses a MicroSoft DRM for its Rights Mangement.
How sad is that? MS gives the free world its' DRM to build upon then steals the best one in the end; and to boot, kicks WeedShare out of the portable player market!
