I first came across Julien Grandcl�ment's website back in 2003. (Yes, I was digging through my decade-old bookmarks). Back then, his site hosted the 1842.urls zone, a page that had hundreds of links to great multimedia sites. Julien Grandcl�ment is the Freelance Art Director/Designer at Wanedo.com, and his site odbo.org hosts his digital portfolio showcasing logo, print, web, and design work. Although the links page is no longer found, you can access a copy of the links page from 2003 via waybackmachine.

Google Chrome, the new browser from Google will be released on September 2, 2008 @ 11:00 AM PDT (in more than 100 countries for computers running on Microsoft's Windows operating system), and this site gChrome.com just might be the official website for�the Google Chrome web browser. This is an update to the Karachi Port Trust Tower post - Karachi, Pakistan - relating to "Port Trust Tower Complex".

Port Trust Tower Complex - part of Karachi Waterfront development with a budget of US$ 100 billion - is by developer
Dubai Limitless. The Tower height in feet represents the independence year of Pakistan which is the year 1947. I'm updating this post with information about the approved Tower only, and will be updating it again in the future when information about Karachi's 30-year-long waterfront development becomes available.

Designed by Pei Partnership Architects, the tower will comprise "2,000,000 square feet of office and 700,000 square feet of hotel and 600,000 square feet of retail. In addition, the program calls for 350,000 square feet of exhibition space, a 1,500-seat auditorium and an observation deck at the top of the tower."

The Landmark Tower - by Ministry of Presidential Affairs, HH Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan (Amir of Abu Dhabi) - is an impressive commercial and residential center, and will be one of the tallest buildings in Abu Dhabi (72 floors / 330 meters / 1082 feet). The architectural design was developed by Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects (formally Cesar Pelli Associates), project management is by EC Harris International, supervising engineering is by Buro Happold, and the contractor is Bauer International. The Landmark Tower is scheduled for completion in 2010. If you think the design looks familiar, you are right, tower design resembles that of the "Nanjing international center" tower in China, by Goettsch Partners Inc.
